Friends! Have we ever stamped fireworks onto paper using paper tubes? You bet! Have we ever turned the paper tube stampers into THE FIREWORKS? Not until now!
While celebrating the New Year, this idea struck! And now....I'm obsessed. We're talking - I think every student in the whole school should make a firework for a bulletin board that is also sporting fabulous lyrics from Katy Perry's "Firework" song! How insanely EPIC would that be?! Likely the most epic, most sparkly, most incredible collaborative art project ever ;)
WHAT YOU NEED:
paper tubes
scissors
white glue
fine glitter
sequins (or other sparkly things!)
HOW TO MAKE:
Use scissors to make several vertical cuts on one side of a paper tube. The cuts should be approximately the same length. You can vary the distance between cuts if that suits your vibe :)
Bend the newly cut sections outwards to create a fringe-like structure.
Create a glitter and glue mixture that can be "painted" onto the fringe....and then paint!
Add sequins or other sparklies as desired.
Ta-da! Baby, you're a firework :)

Let your colours burst, friends! YOU ARE FIREWORKS <3
Love,
Linds XOXO
