Ask me to leave the house on NYE and it's an immediate NOPE. Ask me to do a craft that involves sparkly things and the answer is an immediate LET'S GOOOOO!!!!! I'm so happy the girls are still happy to do the same ;)
If you're looking for an artsy evening in, consider finding all-things-silver in your house to create these fabulous disco balls!
WHAT YOU NEED:
iridescent or silver cardstock
white glue
silver materials (e.g. beads, wrapping paper scraps, aluminum foil, glitter paper, muffin cups, gems, etc)
scissors
circular object to trace (we used a mixing bowl!)
single hole punch
string to hang
HOW TO MAKE:
Begin by tracing a big circle onto your chosen cardstock. Cut this out :)
Use glue to adhere the materials you love most onto your disco ball.
Allow work to dry. This could be an excellent time to choose your NYE pajamas ;)
Punch a hole in the top of your disco ball.
Thread some string through and add beads as desired.
Ta-da! Display in your family room to welcome the new year!

They are so pretty - especially when the light hits them! And, if you're a Swiftie, these could very much fit the role of a "Mirrorball" ;)
Wishing you a happy, healthy, and craft-filled new year!
Love,
Linds XOXO
