French Flag Olympic Art (Made with...MY DOG!)

We can't just stop at 2 art pieces. There has to be a third.

SO, HERE IT IS - framed with the previously-blogged-about pieces:

You must agree, it completes the set ;) And it looks awesome in the family room, nearby our Olympics tree! :)

WHAT YOU NEED:
  • navy and red paint

  • white cardstock

  • gold glitter cardstock

  • black cardstock

  • cricut

  • glue

  • optional: frame

HOW TO MAKE:
  1. Dab red paint onto a piece of white cardstock.

  2. Carefully place the cardstock into the Ziploc bag, trying not to smudge the dabs of paint!

  3. Zip the Ziploc. GUYS, YOU GOTTA ZIP THE ZIPLOC!!!!

  4. Put a few smears of peanut butter onto the Ziploc. I put them nearby any paint spots.

  5. It's painting time for your pup! Hold the zippy on the floor and allow your dog to bring out his inner pup-casso. I promise they will really, really, really love it ;)

  6. Carefully remove the cardstock from the Ziploc and allow the art piece to dry.

  7. Repeat steps 1-6 using navy paint.

  8. Using a cricut (or scissors!), cut out the letters P, R, I, and S from the gold sparkly cardstock. Also cut an Eiffel Tower to serve as the "A" in "Paris".

  9. Assemble your flag onto the piece of black cardstock. We made even strips of red, navy and white. Choose the sizing that is most pleasing for you and your crew.

  10. Glue the flag sections to the black cardstock, followed by the "Paris" cut-outs created with your cricut.

  11. Frame, if you like!

Honestly, this post is making me feel like doing an entire flag series with Oaks because......it's joyful and fun :)

I hope you've been doing things that bring you JOY. And I secretly hope it's creating art with your dog, too! ;)

Happy creating!

Love, Linds

XO
