Podium Collages

Yep, it's ANOTHER collage! I can't stop and I won't stop. You're so welcome :)

WHAT YOU NEED:

• cardboard

• aluminum foil

• tape

• gold, silver and bronze collage items (paper, ribbon, muffin cups, etc)

• red, white and blue items (pom-poms, gems, ribbon, foam)

• white glue

HOW TO MAKE:

1. Prepare the canvases in advance. These are simply pieces of cardboard, wrapped with aluminum foil and taped on the back side. This part is like gift-wrapping and it pairs extremely well with sports coverage or Netflix shows :)

2. Prepare the collage materials in advance, too. I punched stars and circles out of sparkly paper, smooshed muffin cups, cut up ribbon pieces and gathered the gems and pom-poms that fit the colour scheme.

   
   

   

3. Set out some white glue (I always set out paintbrushes with it!) and allow the artists to create as they wish. I always encourage artists to put larger, flat pieces on first and smaller, 3D pieces on second :)

   
   

The beauty of collage, and why it continues to be one of my very favourite art processes, is the freedom artists have to express themselves with various colours, sizes and textures. Every piece is unique <3
