This project is one that gets me super pumped up! I've done this with kindergarteners all the way to highschoolers and the engagement remained peaked for all ages. These very special crafts (do you know how rare that is?!) must be savoured and shared ;)

WHAT YOU NEED:
styrofoam balls
wire
scissors
hot glue
in a blue and white palette:
pipecleaners
beads
felt pieces
cut up straws
push pins
HOW TO MAKE:
Begin by covering your styrofoam ball with felt pieces, adhering them to the surface with push pins.
Use pipecleaners to create symmetrical (or not!) extensions from the styrofoam ball. These push in easily and will stay in place.
Add beads or straw pieces to pipecleaner extensions (as you wish!) and consider twisting smaller pipecleaner pieces on too! Make sure any beads are secured by a fold or a twist!
Stick a thin piece of wire to the "top" of your snowflake. I secured this part with hot glue just in case it slipped out of place with a nudge!
Display :)

A chilly winter weekend is the perfect time to surprise the kids with this art project :)
Be sure to tag us on Instagram @theartstadium if you give it a try :) We'd love to share your creations!
Happy crafting!
Love, Linds XOXO
