Surely everyone gets the madness during March! Surely that momentum continues into the WNBA season ;)
We are always highlighting female athletes in our house. Regardless of the sport, they are a topic of conversation when it comes to strength, resilience, commitment and so on. We especially love watching women's basketball and Nory and I were lucky to attend our first WNBA game in New York City this summer!

It was the COOLEST! The energy in the building was electric!
We hope this art piece will inspire you to follow women's basketball too (if you don't already!)
WHAT YOU NEED:
circle tracers (e.g. lids, tape rolls)
orange, washable marker
black Crayon
paintbrush
cup of water
athlete cut-outs (from a magazine, calendar, etc)
glue
watercolour paper
HOW TO MAKE:
Trace circles onto your piece of watercolour paper using an orange marker.
Use a black crayon to create the black markings on each "basketball".
Wet a paintbrush with water and use it to turn your orange marker into orange paint! Brush towards the inside of each basketball shape to make it orange. This part usually comes with some oh's and ah's :)
Allow paper to dry.
Glue a basketball player onto your art piece.

Happy creating, current & future women's sports fans!
Love,
Linds
