Swiftie Arm Parties

ree

Turns out our Taylor Swift art-making is limitless. There's just tooo many eras and tooooo many lyrics and tooooo many ways to be inspired to have any obstruction of creativity. And so, you are gifted one more <3 That's how much I love you.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • people colour cardstock

  • cardstock (in your preferred colour!) for the background

  • Posca markers

  • beads

  • white glue

  • scissors & pencil / Cricut machine

HOW TO MAKE:

  1. This can be done two different ways! Actually, now that I think of it, THREE DIFFERENT WAYS! You could.....take a photo of your arm (with no accessories!) and then print it. You could trace your arm onto a piece of paper and then cut it out and mount it on a fun background. Orrrrrr, you could use a Cricut to do all the dirty work! Who knew we were embarking on a choose your own adventure today ;)

  2. Use Posca markers to add nail polish on the "nails" or little doodles to the hands/arms. Of course, drawing a 13 was quite popular. But the sweetest ones were those who said "do you think Taylor Swift also loves the number 9? What about 7?" We decided Taylor Swift loves all numbers ;)

  3. Use white glue to create beaded "bracelets". The more bracelets, the merrier. It is an arm party, after all!

The extra-exciting part of this activity (for us!) was that we got to display them at a Taylor Swift themed art show downtown! At a candy store! It was so special <3
