Confession.
Yesterday I put on a pair of headphones to drown out the noise in the house. I really, truly just couldn’t take ONE MORE scream, argument, whine, or even a happy-but-way-too-loud rendition of Into The Unknown.
And now that these Cool Cat Headphones exist, I might be wearing my headphones a little more often
WHAT YOU NEED:
playdoh
pipecleaners
string
scissors
HOW TO MAKE:
Create two balls of Playdoh. Flatten each ball gently with the palm of your hand and then use your fingers to make a bowl-shaped area in the center of each one.
Curve a pipecleaner and connect each end of it to one of your Playdoh “earpieces”.
Cut smaller pieces of pipecleaners for the ears. Bend them in half and then form a triangle shape as you attach each one to the other pipecleaner.
Attach a string to one of the earpieces.
At the end of the string, add a small cylinder of Playdoh to act as the jack.
VOILA! You’re ready to rock out!

Venture into other types of headphones! Think unicorns, dinosaurs or teddy bears!
Open a “headphone” shop! Create a company name and logo to go along with your products!
Bigger kids might be interested in researching the evolution of headphones.
